Thank you for considering TMS, or Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatment. TMS is a safe and effective way to treat depression. It is especially effective is medication has failed, or there have been intolerable medication side effects.


It is cutting edge, painless and non-invasive.


If you have a psychiatrist, your psychiatrist will continue to treat you through the process. Please ask your psychiatrist to refer you.


If you do not have a psychiatrist, please fill in the form and ReWire will organize a psychiatric assessment for the suitability of TMS.


Note: The psychiatric assessment is charged for at normal medical aid rates. However, TMS is not covered by Medical Aids in South Africa (at this time)


The cost is R 30 000 for 30 sessions.


Sessions last 30- 40 minutes and occur most weekdays.


It is safe to drive after the treatment.
